HOA Case ("we", "us", "our") is a web application that helps homeowners document HOA violations and manage dispute correspondence. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

When you use the app we store the data you enter — violation details, correspondence notes, uploaded documents and photos, and AI-generated letters. This data is associated with your account and only visible to you.
Your data is stored on a secured server. All connections to HOA Case are encrypted via HTTPS. Your password is hashed using industry-standard bcrypt encryption and cannot be read by us or anyone else.
Your case data is only accessible to your account. Other users cannot see your violations, documents, or correspondence.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Account Settings page — this permanently deletes all your data including violations, documents, correspondence, and generated letters.

HOA Case uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies of any kind.
HOA Case is not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email. Continued use of HOA Case after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
To report abusive content, copyright violations, or illegal material, email abuse@hoacase.com. We take all reports seriously and will respond promptly. For DMCA takedown requests, include the specific content location, your contact information, and a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorized.
