HOA Case — hoacase.com
These Terms of Service govern your use of HOA Case ("the Service"). By creating an account you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
HOA Case provides a web-based tool for homeowners to document HOA violations, track correspondence, and generate dispute letters using AI. We are a software tool, not a legal service. Use of this service does not create an attorney-client relationship.
You agree to use HOA Case only for its intended purpose — documenting your own HOA disputes. You agree not to:
HOA Case uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate dispute letters. These letters are generated by an AI system and are provided as a starting point only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and any consequences of sending AI-generated letters. HOA Case makes no warranty that AI-generated letters are legally accurate, appropriate for your specific situation, or will produce any particular outcome.
Pro plan subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your Account Settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months. Free tier users are not charged.
You own the content you upload to HOA Case — your violation descriptions, photos, documents, and notes. By uploading content you grant us a limited license to store and display it to you as part of providing the service. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any other purpose.
HOA Case is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular outcome will result from using the service. We are not responsible for the outcome of any HOA dispute.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HOA Case shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time from Account Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination all your data will be permanently deleted.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email. Continued use of HOA Case after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
